Good deal
I loved this movie at theaters and had to get it on DVD. Even the single disc version has a lot of bonus footage. 2009-01-01

Iron Man-Chapter One
The big screen was blessed this year with two superlative comic book adaptations, "Iron Man" and "The Dark Knight". What's not to like about "Iron Man"? Good acting, characters that are full bodied and make sense, good visual effects and edge-of-your-seat action. What's my reservation about the flick? It feels like an incomplete film. It seems like it's mostly exposition. By the time the flick really heats up it's over. It's like the makers of the "Iron Man" were so confident in it's success that they're setting you up for the sequel which, now with the film's success, is inevitable. I might elevate this film to five stars if the sequel's any good. 2009-01-01

review on IRON MAN DVD
received it in a timely fashion, and the DVD was in excellent condition~ brand new 2008-12-31

Iron Man by Brandon M. Moskos
This was the best movie of 2008, in my opinion. Great movie, great acting, and it is a lot of fun to watch. Robert Downey is at his best, and so are the other actors. You'll love it, it is a must for any dvd collection! 2008-12-30

What is wrong with you people?!?
Now before I get into it, this is not a review of either DVD or its features. I saw this movie for $4 via Charter On Demand- and it was worth exactly that. Also, don't take everything I say too seriously. There's no need to start lighting fires over a few words I wrote in only a couple of minutes.
To be blunt, Iron man is a mindless, over-hyped action film which survives solely on A-list actors and admittedly spectacular special effects. Want a quick movie to get your adrenaline rushing? Go ahead and pick it up. But if you're expecting a movie thats...good? Save your money and look elsewhere. Iron Man is what it is: another one of Marvel's half-hearted attempts to make a quick buck, still drunk with visions of grandeur roughly five years after the success of Sam Raimi's film adaptation of Spider-Man. A generic, simple plot is only made more repugnant by an odd air of 9/11 paranoia which, albeit inconsequential, seems to be omnipresent throughout the film. Of course, this plays off-of the typical liberties taken with the original comic book's plot.
I've seen a lot of stupid movies in my day, but at least they had lower budgets which usually warranted some creativity. The fact this pile of celluloid fecal matter is so highly regarded would make Darwin roll over in his grave.
