SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE-SPECIAL EDITION
I have been waiting for this movie to happen for so long and I wasn't disappointed. It was great seeing the girls again and it just made me realise how much I really missed the series. I do hope that there is another movie, but, I think that maybe there won't be one, seeing how they seemed to tie up all the loose ends - except for Samantha. Once again a great movie, long awaited and for all those Sex and the City fans, one not to be missed.

Love, Love, Love it!!!!!!!!!!
I love this movie soooo much. I cried, and I laughed. I just had a really good time. I could watch this movie a hundred times. I love the characters even more. This is just simply pure fun, and a serious mood lifter. Thanks:-)

Total garbage!
This movie was seriously a waste of 2.5 hours. I honestly don't know how it has all of the 5 star reviews- unless it's from people who were not fans of the show. It's so absurd on so many levels, and the characters aren't the same people they were! It's impossible to relate to them on any level. The film starts out with Samantha bidding $50,000 on a ring she wants just "cause it's cute". Then Big jilts Carrie AGAIN at the alter- something he's already done during the episodes, and she has to act surprised and/or depressed. They go to Mexico where Charlotte craps her pants during a Larry, Moe and Curly like scene that I assume was supposed to be funny?? It's not. There are some nasty sex scenes with Miranda and Steve, which are kind of, well, gross. It's just BAD. I made myself sit through it because I love the show so much, but this film was so horrid it actually made me angry. Again, perhaps those who weren't fans of the series will enjoy this, because they won't have expectations for the characters.

The BEST movie from a show!
This movie was outstanding on it's own (4 stars), but I upgraded it to 5 stars because it was easily the best movie based on a popular series that I have ever seen. The did not skimp out on story developement. The original cast was there. The had a few bumps in the road. There was no sneaky ending leaving you feeling that they would make more cheesy sequels. It had the great style of the show, without the typical changes some movies make from the show. There was no "gee they had a much bigger budget" or "I don't remember that story line..."

In a nutshell: No gimmicks, great story.

Never saw the show but LOVED the movie!
I tried to watch the show on more than one occasion but after a few minutes into it I would lose interest. It seemed goofy and and the women were so vain it was embarrassing. I rented the movie because I was hopeful it would be better than the show and I have to say I was glued! I loved it! It was funny, pretty, dramatic and you really felt for each character. My husband even came home during the middle of the movie and he had to sit down and watch it. He wanted me to catch him up on what he missed. He was laughing at the jokes, felt sorry for Big and really got into the story. We both really enjoyed the movie! I had to go out and buy the Special Edition DVD and watch it again. Don't miss this movie!
