New Noir
This is a throwback to the Noir style of the 40's and 50's. It is carried out with style and excellent acting. A not to be missed movie if you love old fashioned movie making 2008-11-25
Great Movie, Great website
Bought this item for a xmas gift, so actually have not opened it, but have seen movie in the past and it was terrific, (it is really my husbands favorite movie and that is who I bought it for). 2008-11-12
Blue Ray but not 1081
this blue ray is not what you would expect of a HD imahe because its 480 image and not 1081 image - this is a pity for a great film. 2008-11-10

Great Movie in HD
LA Confidential is a great movie. The performances by all of the characters are superb and the movie looks beautiful in HD. Not too many special effects to warrant bluray but I own it because its still worth it. 2008-10-29
