The Fall

It's so refreshing when every once in a while, a true gem of a movie is produced. I went to the theater to see this movie THREE times, and I NEVER do that! I had to go multiple times to show my friends and family this tale of tales. The colors and scenery are so amazing. It's funny, charming, mystical, magical, dark, sad, creative, and most of all, SPECTACULAR. Highly recommended. I wish there were more movies like this!

Regardless of whether the reviews say that this is self indulgent, I loved this film.

The performance by Catinca Untaru as Alexandra is mesmorising and Lee Pace is perfect as Roy. This can be viewed on two levels ; The dynamics between a desperate heartbroken adult and an enchanted little girl in a new country/world. The second being the visual feast of some (most) of the world's most stunning real life backdrops.

I sugeest you try this film, and make your own mind up...

This is a wonderful movie by the artist Tarsem. Lee Pace is amazing in the movie as well as the little girl playing opposite him.

This is a film like no other. If you expect a deep and complex storyline you will probably end up disappointed but if you want to enjoy some breathtaking imagery and an unusual way of telling a charming story - then you will love this movie.If you were wondering why you invested in a Plasma screen then this will justify your investment !!

What puzzles me is the recommended minimum viewing age (16??). My kids, 9 and 12 are totally enchanted by The Fall and i could see no reason for them not to be watching it.

Lush. Compelling from the beginning. Stunning. ...running out of superlatives. Run, don't walk, to own this beauty for yourself. Your kids may even like it!
