The Three Stooges Collection, Vol. 3: 1940-1942

I have been a Stooges fan since I was a little girl and I'm now "?". These are the best transfers I have ever seen, and they are in chronological order. How can you go wrong with this? In my opinion, the Stooges were the best comedy team ever. How can anyone not love the Stooges? The only thing that would improve this offering would be to incorporate short guest appearances in their films and any short news appearances.

I have to give Sony Pictures a lot of kudos...they stumbled a bit in the beginning by releasing some rather lackluster quality Stooges DVD's, but they finally listened to the fans, stepped up to the plate & delivered some real gems--what's even more appealing is that they've done it at a pretty reasonable price!

Volume Three represents the boys' mid-period shorts when they really hit their stride & became quite popular in the process. Every film is crystal clear & sharp on a regular TV, but if you watch it in HD, apart from being in black & white, you'd swear that they were filmed yesterday, that's how good they look!

Again, well done Sony Pictures!! Keep up the excellent work & keep them coming!!

This dvd was a good Three Stooges collection. The Nazi short was what I actually purchased it for. It was worth it!

Great entertainment and family fun! Excellent sound and picture quality. Get the entire Collection, Vols 1-4.

I am certainly grateful that Sony has decided to rerelease The Stooges shorts in their entirety and in order of their original production date. Seeing these brilliantly remastered shorts again after so many years brought back old memories. There are some in this edition that I've probably seen a hundred times before, but each time I catch something I missed or had forgotten about. This is a purchase you can't go wrong with.
