Made of Honor

An average romantic comedy. Made of Honor falls somewhere between 2.5 and 3 stars. Certainly not a 5 star movie, not even close, but not a one star movie either. There are some fun moments and a couple of laughs. The leads are enjoyable.

THIS MOVIE WAS EXCELLENT. IT NOT ONLY WAS REALLY FUNNY BUT A GOOD LOVE STORY.

I watched this reluctantly at the insistence of my friend. As I sat with my arms folded in protest, I found myself more and more laughing and ultimately rooting for the characters' relationship, as well as the male lead. Side characters are funny as well...some forced moments, but overall fun. Unfold your arms and give it a shot...

I can't believe all the low ratings for this movie! I liked it...it's not super original and it's very predictable but hey, it's a date movie. There's some funny moments and yes, it's a basic rehash of "My Best Friend's Wedding" but I think "Made of Honor" is better. I didn't really like "My Best Friend's Wedding" mainly because I didn't really like Julia Robert's character and there really wasn't any chemistry between her and her male co-star. I am a Dempsey fan (loved him in "Enchanted"...) and I thought Patrick Dempsey was very charming in "Made of Honor." I think the chemistry between him and Michelle Monaghan was great. It's a cute movie.

I have the newest firmware and a Samsung P1500 - will not load. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Every other disc I have tried works. I wish I could call sony and demand my money back, but as we all know you can't return DVD's - (or blu-rays).
