It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (Remastered Deluxe Edition)

I love when Linus thinks he finally saw the Great Pumpkin,just
to have it be Snoopy. This is a all time fav. of mine and
if you have not seen it or own it...WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!
Such great scenes are in this like when the gang go out trick or treat
or! As Lucy puts it TRICKS AND TREATS! I love the scene where the
gang all show their candy and poor Charlie Brown only gets rocks!
(I gotta rock.) The best for me however is Schroeder playing a
marc type music and Snoopy in his World War 1 hat is doing a happy
march to the music,just to have Schroeder start playing music
you'd hear in a 1920 silent love film. Snoopy looks at you the audience
and than starts weeping. CLASSIC! Please watch It's the Great Pumpkin
Charlie Brown this Oct. It is funtastic(sic) WHAT'S THAT? WHAT'S THAT?
THERE HE IS! THERE HE IS! UGGGGH!!!! What-what happened? Did I faint?
What did I miss? Did the Great Pumpkin bring us toys????? YOU BLOCKHEAD!

How can you go wrong with old school Charlie Brown? It's funny, witty, serious and everything else wrapped up into one big bundle that lasts all of 30 minutes. Linus and his great pumpkin obsession, Sally's first "tricks or treats" and Charlie Brown gets crapped on yet again -- this time with rocks instead of candy. Plus there's Snoppy going after the Red Baron, which is always a delight since those moments aren't really in the movies, only the strip.

Don't snub an old classic. Just because it's a cartoon doesn't mean that adults can't enjoy either. Buy it, you won't regret it.

You will never be too old to enjoy this timeless classic. As a child I would ask myself "will Linus finally see the Great Pumpkin this year?" It was a question I already knew the answer to. But it was that child-like sense of wonder that made me ponder this annual question. Even though I knew the answer, I would sit glued to the television as if seeing for the very first time. And I will continue to do so until I breathe my last breathe. Your video collection is not complete until you own this classic.

My family and I are huge Snoopy fans. Peanuts dominated my childhood. Every Halloween was marked with the traditional viewing of The Great Pumpkin. This isn't just for kids' enjoyment, however. My junior year of high school, I was invited to my friend's Halloween party, consisting of an eclectic group of high school and college students, who all willingly sat down some time in the evening to It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It's the kind of movie you actually want to buy, because you know you'll end up watching it every year.

This was a great DVD, and a great tradition to start with any family! We watch this every Halloween, and love it to pieces.
