abuntly entertained
We have watched this series over and over again. We are very disappointed when we get to the last disc, sometimes we start it all over again.

Still Wort Watching
Although the Centennial Series is over twenty years old it is still worth watching. The series though fictional is based loosely on historical facts and contains many fine actors of the time. I throughly enjoyed watching it again. My wife, who had never watched it also enjoyed very much.

Only the Rocks Live Forever.....
... but thanks to DVD, great TV doesn't have to die! There's not much more I can add to the other positive reviews here except to reaffirm that this is some of the greatest television ever created. Although some of the cinematography may seem dated (well it was the 1970's lol) - Centennial is still an excellent example of what quality TV can be. I suggest taking a few nights - maybe one weekend night a week for 2-3 weeks to watch the series. See it with people who've never seen it - you may actually see things you didn't see before. Highly recommend this one!

Centennial Comments
This series is an exceptional look at history as they saw it and is very well done. I have seen it several times and never tire of it.

Centennial: The Complete Series
This is an exceptional production. I was particularly impressed and attracted to the character studies including Pasquinale, McKeag, Clay Basket, Levi Zendt, Skimmerhorn, Oliver Seccombe, and others. The characters were presented in depth with attributes and faults. The acting was incredible: Robert Conrad, Lynn Redgrave, Greg Harrison, Anthony Zerbe, and Timothy Dalton gave the best performances I have seen from them. True, the last episodes were somewhat of a characature compared to the historical episodes, but that seems to represent human nature. (It is easier to judge an historical figure after his / her death than to make such judgements on a living person.) I am very pleased to have purchased this series. It was much more than my memory of it and something I will watch again and again.
