Jericho - The Second Season

One of the best shows ever shown on tv. If you like Red Dawn or have ever thought about how quickly civilization can break down if the right things happen, you need to watch the full series of Jericho. The show was canceled after its first season and brought back by its fans. Only to have CBS cancel it after the second season. The second season wraps up most of the story, but where it left off is perfect for a Jericho movie. I would love to see a movie made or Jericho bought by the SCI-FI channel. In closing, CBS cans another great show.

Definitely one of the best shows ever on TV. The second season (although way too short) was even better than the first. The acting and writing are superb and keep you wanting more.

Great Show, Great DVD. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. A real gripping series.

This is such a great show - too bad it was cancelled. Still hoping one of the cable channels will pick it up.
The final show was written in an amazing way - still open ended, but you at least have answers.
I love Gerald McRaney, which is why I first watched the show - still crying over that loss. Skeet Ulrich is such a good/bad/good guy. Anything with either of these actors can't really miss. The bond between them was wonderful.
I thought the writing and the sometimes-not-the-best-acting, were much better & solid in the second season than the first.
This was a twisted, never ending, surprise around every corner, amazing series.

This series seriously needs a closing television movie mini-series. Though it could be carried on for at least one more season with the new civil war, I think at least a final movie would be sufficient that shows the outcome and perhaps flash back scenes of the war, if not actual war footage. THey may have even been able to make a full season two that could have wrapped it up, but so goes life. I think CBS seriously underestimated the fan base as proven by the fact that millions are still out there championing for closure 4 months later.

As for this DVD set, fantastic extras and great production value still comes through. The alternate ending really could have spring boarded into the next season.

As a fan, I miss this show and hope to see that final movie that has been rumored by the actual stars of the show.

Good stuff! Makes you wonder how closeto reality this serial drama could become...
