Fool's Gold (Widescreen Edition)

I bought this movie because I liked how to lose a guy in ten days. There is no chemistry between them, just Matt showing off his body. This is in my top ten worst films. Long, boring, & painful to get through. The only good thing is the blu ray quality!

Romantic and funny. Very fast action with enjoyable characters.
Silly at times but well worth the time to watch.
Makes you want to go on a boat and sail into the sunset.

THIS MOVIE WAS GOOD AND THIS MOVIE HAS NON STOP ACTION AND COMEDY, THAT'S FUN. ALSO THIS MOVIE WAS NOT BORED. MATTHEW AND KATE ARE NICE COUPLE IN THIS MOVIE. THEY BOTH ACTING GOOD. I ENJOY THIS MOVIE.

I expected an action movie based on previews, but got more of an action/comedy. I suspect that's why this movie has less than great reviews. However, about twenty minutes in, just past the goofiest parts, the movie turned out to be very entertaining.

The dialogue is smart and pokes fun of common movie clichés in surprising ways, like when the Ukrainian guy argues that he's the center of his own story, not just a sidekick. The rich daughter, Genna, cracked me up in almost every scene.

Overall, the movie is like taking a short vacation to the crazier parts of the Caribbean. It's a good popcorn movie to watch with your husband or wife.

We are fans of Matthew McConaughey and have enjoyed all his movies. Although the acting was fine, this movie did not thrill us. It always seemed like they were holding back from a great punch line or stopping short of a really good stunt. Donald Sutherland was wonderful in his role. A nice break on a rainy afternoon, but not a must see.
