The Wire - The Complete Fifth Season

I've been watching The Wire fpr several years now, and now that I've watched the final season I feel like I've graduated or something. I'm sad because this is definitely one of my favorite TV series of all time. It's just so addictive: smart, interesting, very well written and acted. I love The Wire.

story takes a little while to get going, but once it does you're hooked again.

Great price on brand new "The Wire" season 5 - the final season. After watching seasons 1 - 4 in the months before, on DVD - I was very anxious to see the final season and was thrilled that everything was wrapped up nicely. A few cast members don't make it until the end - but that was to be expected in this wonderful crime drama, set in the hard streets of Baltimore (not all streets there are hard!! as it's a nice city!!) - but the writers/producers found a way to tie up all loose ends to the viewers' satisfaction. Amazon is a great place to order Video movies and books. Thanks for the speedy delivery. I will shop again.

So long to the best television ever. Gritty, real, dynamic. Acting that feels like no acting at all, characters that walk in from off the street and move you whether you want to be or not. I could go on watching it forever but it ended well and I'm not sure if I could have stayed with it. It was like carrying baggage. I don't think anything else will ever move me as this but it is a relief to have closure.
