John Adams (HBO Miniseries)

It is a rare thing when I watch a series and do not sell it. I will never sell this gem. Actors I thought were reasonable seemed to emerge into wonderful acting such that they took me into the time and the people and I lived with them and felt all they felt.

This is not a series or a "show." This is directors, producers and actors giving their ultimate best capacities and they only deserve repeated praise.

This mini-series is awesome! Well acted, historically correct, I recommend it to all early american history buffs.

John Adams is largely one of those people in history that all I know is his name and that he was, at one time, a president. After viewing this miniseries, I decided to look up the historical account of Mr. Adam's life and found that HBO was pretty historically accurate.

Paul Giamatti's portrayal of John Adams was realistic and personal. The series was shot beautifully in historically recreated locations to give the film an authentic feel.

If you are an American history buff, I highly recommend John Adams by HBO.

I thoroughly enjoyed the HBO miniseries on the life of John Adams. It was very informative and very well done. I certainly recommend this series to everyone.I also enjoyed reading the book.

enjoyed the john adams (hbo miniseries) so much went out and bought the book. this dvd set will be making the rounds of our family and friends. we'd heard such good things about this dvd set. we were not disappointed at all.
