Awesome set of movies
I don't usually watch movies that have even a little bit to do with sports of any kind...but these movies have far more to offer than just one senseless fight after another. I will admit, however, that the 5th movie could easily be left out without diminishing the overall story at all. If you are interested in special features you will be, as another reviewer mentioned, disappointed. If, however, you are only interested in the movies, this set should satisfy.

Complete Set Good Value
Its exactly what you would expect: all 6 movies and no extras, no commentaries, no bonuses, JUST the movies. So if you waited for a good deal like I did, then its the set for you. If you want a Special Edition, then its not for you.

A must-have.
Rocky - The Complete Saga Collection is the ultimate gift for friends, family, or just yourself. This collection contains all six Rocky films. My personal fave is Rocky I and IV. Every Rocky is good and the film has an important message about following your dreams, go underdogs! Get this today, enjoy!

Starts off very good but loses quality over almost each passing film!
The 1976 Rocky was a real feel good film with obvious American bi-centennial touches. The story about a boxer was really a little old fashioned but it was handled as modernly as possible for the time! Second film with boxer Rocky going up against the same opponent as in film one (Apollo Creed) was a bit of a rehash but also very well done! Third film was just as good as film two however with anew opponent for Rocky (called in Mad Magazine satires "Rockhead"). Fourth movie was much more perfunctory and not as hardhitting! Fifth movie was even worse than 4!

PS I went to Philadelphia in the summer of 1982 and when I got back to the city I lived in and told someone I visited the city of brotherly love they asked if I saw the statue of Rocky (seen in Rocky 3).
