Best of the 5 seasons, #4 will not disappoint!
After the disappointment of season 3, I was so pleased to see the show pick up in season 4 as the characters deepened, the plot thickened, the cast broadened, and significant LGBT issues came to the forefront. I highly recommend it. And if you can only buy one season of L Word, #4 is a must!

After Season 1-3 I found it a bit boring.
I loved to watch Season 1-3 and so I was a little disappointed of what happened - or rather not happened - in Season 4.
Before I even noticed, I watched the last show and it was over.

The good:
I especially liked that Shane is taking care of her brother. And that Bette and Tina get along better is very nice to see.
What I really liked was the story around Tasha, the military girl. The conflict she is in shows how stupid the war is and what it does to people.

The bad:
What's up with Jenny and why are they still talking to her? She is putting out everyone's life in The New Yorker and even makes it into a book with the worst phantasy in names.
Why is Tina, being back to the heterosexual crowd suddenly an outcast?
The story around Helena is so ridiculous, I was tempted to forward...

All in all I am looking forward to Season 5.

The L Word, 4th season
I am enjoying the antics of all the "girls" this season. I could do without the angst of the denouncement of the war in Iraq. Please entertain me, do not play politics.

Back On Track
Season 4 is so much better than Season 3! The characters are more interesting and it's not as depressing. I still wish they would've brought Carmen back, but Papi is a great addition as is Tasha. I hope they both come back in the 5th Season. Marlee Maitlin is very good in her role, but I have a little trouble with Cybil Shephard playing a late blooming lesbian. Somehow, I just can't buy into it. Now, if we could only get rid of Jenny.....

Season 4 - The L Word
This is the best season since season 1. In fact it may be better than season 1. The writers really stepped it up this season!
