Just when you think that this guy can't blow your mind any more with his incredible speed and sound, He floors you with his blues voice that sounds like a seasoned veteran. Since watching this DVD, I have been to three of his concerts and I will not miss a show that comes close to where I live. Joe Bonamassa is the real deal!

This dvd is great , especially for the newcomers to the talent and diversity of Joe Bonamasso. I highly recommend this for all the lovers of the blues and just great guitarists.

Joe Bonamassa is a great talent but I think he overdoes it on this one drawing his songs out. I would have liked to hear more variety of his music and songs than one long drawn out version.

Joe Bonamassa is kicking it in a club. I have seen Joe in concert when he backed up Buddy Guy and this DVD does him justice. Even though it is filmed in a club, it has excellent sound quality and good cinematography. If you are a fan of Joe or the Blues I highly recommend this DVD.

Joe B. is, in my opinion, the top blues/rock artist at this point in time. This DVD captures him well, but I recently saw him live in Las Vegas at a small club and his performance there was even better. In Vegas, he started off with "Just Got Paid" by ZZ Top and never let up for the next two hours. On this DVD, "Takin' the Hit" shows the driving force of his guitar and "Had to Cry Today" shows his "old school" influences. (Check out his cover of Led Zeppelin's "Tea for One" on his latest CD.) He handles everything from driving rock to slow blues and when he covers a song, he catches the appropriate nuances. His tone is always aggressive but tasteful and his vocals are pretty good as well. This is a guy who truly loves the guitar and his playing shows it in every way. I think this DVD is a must for any guitar player's collection and if you ever have a chance to catch his live act, don't pass it up - you will be mesmerized.
