Pink Floyd - Pulse

So-so is accurate if you have the VHS version in Hi-Fi. I had the VHS version for years, and then purchased the DVD in hopes of better sound quality, and having good luck upscaling in my DVD, and neither worked well. The sound quality appears worse than my VHS, and the tunes are mixed differently- which is okay, but wasn't what I expected. For some reason this does not upscale well for being a recent release. If you look into it, it appears they originally filmed this concert on "video" instead of film- whatever that exactly means; but they had a difficult time in the conversion which is why this was only recently released on DVD.

I saw this tour live. This is a terrific DVD showing the band at this stage of their lives. David Gilmour is just mesmerizing with his guitar work. The special effects, once again, show why Pink Floyd has always been the best when seen in concert. Don't miss this!

An awesome product! I've been a Pink Floyd fan since Dark Side of the Moon & though this isn't the original group, nor is it the breakthrough group of Dark Side, they are still an excellent group. I haven't been a big fan of live albums because they tend to lack the sound quality of studio releases but this video has excellent sound, The picture quality is excellent also.

Pink Floyd is known for its shows & this one is no different; they have pulled on the stops on this one. David Gilmour is one of rock's greatest guitarists & he shines here. This concert DVD features them doing the entire Dark Side of the Moon album plus tracks from The Wall, Wish You Were Here, A Momentary Lapse of Reason & The Division Bell. There is a plethora of bonus material which should excite all Pink Floyd fans.

This DVD set is the best! The concert is good, the sound is great, and the light show is excellent! All Pink Floyd fans.....THIS IS A MUST HAVE DVD SET....now I can say "I told you so!". There is some great bootleg video in it too. Don't wait....buy it NOW! Well worth the money spent. It brings you back to the good ole days...except now your driving a mini van.

I think there are two groups of people who would not like the Pulse video.
1) You're not much of a Floyd fan to start with
2) You're a hardcore Roger Waters fan and any Floyd project without him isn't seems to be missing something.

I am neither. I considered myself a decent fan up until I saw this, now I am a BIG fan. The other reviews describe what you'll see and hear. So, simply put, if you consider yourself even a casual fan, I don't see any reason you will not like this.
