The L Word - The Complete Second Season

I love this season!!! Tina is pregnant and tries to reconcile with Bette. It's so intense!!!

I became interested in this genre back when I saw the movie "High Art". Since then I have also enjoyed "Fun" and "The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love". The lesbian theme and especially lesbian love stories are quite compelling, which is probably why I enjoy this series so much. While the girls are pretty and the stories very sexy, I must say that there is some virtue in quantity over quality, and that is much in abundance here. Very worthwhile as a collection.

this is the best season of this show...I could watch this season over and over again

Great series ! I have loved every moment watching it & at the end of each season ... waiting anxiously for the new seasons release . It is the complex friendships & interconnected web of lives spun masterfully together . It is such a treat to have a series with finally predominantly lesbian characters. I really enjoy Kit , Bettes straight sister & owner of the planet . Lots of lesbians complain that it isn't really reflective of the lesbian community as a whole - in terms of the body beautiful femininity , but frankly I enjoy looking at this gorgeous cast . (sorry , not to PC I know) I would tell any collector that this is a must have addition to your home viewing experience.

I was thrilled by the first season's creative and compelling representation of characters. The opening titles, music, dramatizations, editing, as well as, subtle humor of the first season, was an artful and poignant display of life to which many people, regardless of sexual orientation, could relate.

I was immediately disappointed by the second season, however, as it quickly dissolved a great work of art and turned it into cheap pulp.

I hope that the third and fourth season doesn't make the same mistake.
