What's not to love about the Thin Man Series? Nick and Nora are delightful, Asta is precious, and the stories are simple, but diverting.
The sound and picture quality of the series is excellent, and I especially apprecitate that it is left in the original black and white.

I love Myrna Loy and William Powell, especially together and especially in the Thin Man series. And, of course, I love Asta too. Too cute!

I am a child of the 70s and I know the first of these movies were made in the depression, but it really makes me long for that time. It just seemed so vibrant.

I much prefer old Hollywood (these movies, Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, etc) to the Hollywood of today.

And, this is one of the few boxed sets that I have seen receive such stellar reviews from critics and fans alike.

The box that the DVDs go in is damaged. I bought this from Amazon not an individual seller, and I'm disappointed. I purchase a lot of these Warner Bros. sets, and I would not have gone into the DVD section at Barnes & Noble for example, and bought it if the exterior was in this condition. So why did Amazon ship it like so? Besides that, the set only had plastic wrapping around it, and all of the individual movies were unwrapped. It appeared to be used as another buyer on here mentioned about the Cary Grant Signature Collection (which I also ordered and I hope it's in better shape). The one star rating is not for the movies just for the condition of the package. I love William Powell and Myrna Loy!

When we are bored with the same movies over and over on satellite TV, we can watch some great movies on DVD. Love it.
