Laguna Beach - The Complete First Season

I rented this season through netflix and I fell asleep after trying to watch it for about an hour. In all seriousness, it is a pretty boring show if you watch too much of it at once. I think the second season is way better as well. The cast in this season is pretty boring, shallow, and self-centered.

If you are looking for a TV-Serie talking about rich kids, California sun, surf, good music, drama and comedy... I recommend The O.C.
If you haven't seen The O.C., that must be your first choice. If you have seen The O.C., wait for next season instead of wasting your money and time on this new "thing" called Laguna Beach. Even Josh Schwartz (creator of The O.C.) laughs about this serie on the DVD collection of Orange County first season when he's been asked!

Do they really call Laguna Beach "The real Orange County"? Just can't believe they made it to the second season!

What the hell is this! Monstrosity is what it is! MTV needs to be stopped!! They are the ones that are driveing our youth into ground! What the hell is this show about anyways!? What it looks like to me its a whole bunch of rich kids who cry when their parents wont buy them overly expensive clothes, wont buy them a Rolls Royce, wont pay their car insurance for them and cry, when their fake a#@, pink top wearing, pretty boy, half hour boyfriends ditch them! My god! This is supposed to be dramatic!? Thats not real drama. I have said it a million times already, If you want real teen drama then watch something truely dramatic like the movie "Bang! Bang! Your Dead!".

Yeah I freking hate preppie rich kids! If I wanted to watch a whole bunch of preppy kids brag about their parents buying them a Mercadez Benz and ridiculously expensive clothes, I would go back to my old high school!! Preppies are part of what made my high school days the worst days on earth!

This show is about a bunch of rich kids who think they shouldnt have to work for everything in their lives. And it is makeing all teenagers who watch this idiotic show think the same thing! In my life I have had to work for alot of things! I dont get alot of stuff handed to me like these damn kids! Im 19 and dont live with a rich family. I feel much more deserveing of stuff if I have if I work for it. My car for example among other things. An old 1949 Ford pickup. Dont get me wrong I love my truck. I bought for a $1,000 (which I spent alot of time saving) when I was 16 (I was lucky enough to get a job then) and spent years restoreing it. And I have to work to insure it and gas it up. And I maintain it and change the oil myself. God forbid these kids dont have their parents buy them a Lamborghini and have their parents pay for the insuracne, gas, and tune-ups! It disgusts me! Sorry if I am off topic. Im a real car nut and decided to use that analogy. But these kids need to learn how to work for everthing!

I had to go to Radio Shack at the mall to buy new fuse for my lathe! I cant stand to pass Aerocombie with that god awful techno music playing! It wouldnt be so horrible if they would play some heavy metal!

Serously teenagers stop watching this show! In fact stop watching MTV altogether!! Thats why you are so damn stupid! Watch The History Channel or The Discovery Channel. That will make you smarter I gaurentee it! Watch The Simpsons and King Of The Hill too! You will learn a thing or two and laugh your tail off! They need chase those damn preppy kids out and turn Laguna Beach into a ship breaking yard!

Sorry if this is so long I just need to say how I feel about preppy kids and MTV!!! And of course this show!!

I absolutley love this first season of Laguna Beach. Yes, a lot of people hate it because it is a bunch of snotty rich kids being bitches, but I just think it is great. I love the drama on this show, because it is not in my life, so I don't have to deal with it. It's great. BUY IT!!!

I would write a review but they both wrote superb reviews. This is the worst show on the worst channel along with TRL! And for fu c k's sake ignore that stupid preppie kid directly below me!
