My wife & I wore out the VHS, so we got a DVD version. That's how good this product is.

Somehow I missed this exercise program in the 80's. I thought I had tried them all. I can't say enough good things about her program. It does what it says it will. Unbelievable! 2007-12-11




great for the thick middle
I've been jogging and doing some weights for 20 years but I also am a huge eater so my middle isn't as slim as it oughta be. Callanetics works that center part in such a way that it hardly feels like a work out, I mean I just get warm, but OHHHH the results are noticable and it feels like it's making a difference and I only manage to do it 2 x week, plus I'm still eating too much, imagine what I could do if I really tried!! Also, I'm at that age where stiffness is setting in and this is such a great way to get out of that. It feels great on my back also even though I have a tendencey to have an irritated back. I still like my jogging but jogging doesn't touch the muscles Callanetics does. 2007-12-06




Callanetics: My new best friend!!!
Ok, the leotards and hairstyles are so outdated and the background music makes you feel like you're in an elevator, but the actual workout is fantastic. I have completed 6 hours so far and I can already tell a difference. My obliques are firming up as well as my abs. My legs were pretty muscular before but they actually feel longer now from all the stretching. I am slightly overweight and have not had a difficult time doing these exercises. I was sore after the first two sessions but now it just feels really good. Before I started I strained my neck and I have found that the neck stretches actually relieved some of the soreness. It's actually very relaxing because the movements are so slow and slight. I highly recommend this DVD. *****UPDATE***** I have completed 10 sessions and I dropped a pants size. I haven't lost any weight but I have actually lost inches around my waist. A helpful hint is to memorize the excercises and the number of reps and do them without watching the DVD. After 10 sessions you'll have it all memorized and can watch regular TV and just do the routine without the DVD. This really is a wonderful program and it's one I actually enjoy because it's not really "exercise". 2007-11-28




A Great Workout!
I started using this DVD 3 weeks ago about 3 or 4 times a week. I haven't lost any pounds but my abs, hips, and behind have gotten smaller. Several people, including my mom, have noticed and commented that I look smaller. I still have a lot of ab work to do but it is slowly going down. I may try Super Callanetics in a few months. 2007-10-18
