A movie suitable for family viewing
The story line is a variation of the rags to riches theme. I found it to be well written without excessive dramatics. The performances were well done. It presents examples of family love, loyalty, generousity, sacrifice and loyalty. Some may classify it as a chick flick, but as a man, I found it to be an enjoyable movie. A worthwhile addition to your library of family films. 2008-04-05

Good Romance
I really enjoyed this movie. It is about a young woman who is a companion for a the young daughter of a wealthy family. The family does not come out and say they are Christians but in their actions they show Christian attributes. The young woman is treated as one of the family and through some twists and turns is well rewarded in the end for her moral standing. You will enjoy this movie. The acting is top notch and the plot is not boring at all. There is a surprise ending that was not predictable. Good family movie for all ages that has a moral message. 2008-03-14

Great Movie; fun historical fiction
I won't do a whole review, just add a quick note: this is a great movie. The acting and casting are great; the plot is great; the suspense and drama are great. I love historical fiction and this is it.
It's refreshing to see someone moving outside herself for the good of another. What a unique idea in this "me generation" society. I bought this for myself and another as a gift and may buy more for other friends who like this genre. I like films from Jane Austen's books as well such as Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice, but I like this one even more. The DVD Little Women is good, too.

Sowing what You Reap
This was a very good movie that taught wonderful lessons on character. It
had excellent themes on being unselfish and portrayed the old saying of reaping what a person sows coming to pass, whether it be good or evil. This is an excellent family video. Shared it with my close friends and they all liked it.
