Acting sucks; trying to appeal to a passionate audience
This movie was so lame. It seemed like the writers were just trying to appeal to the large population of anti-mormons. I have Mormon friends, and this movie was not an accurate portrayal.

Wes Ransey Makes This Film
This movie surprised the heck out of me.I thought the cast was superb as well as the acting and storyline.I have seen many movies about gay love and this one is without question the best so far.Steve Sandvoss is appealing as Aaron and does a good job for a first film.At the beginning of the film the words "introducing Steve Sandvoss" appear.I have to say some very good words about Wes Ramsey. This is the only movie I have ever seen him in.I hope there are other movies that he is in or going to be in.I'm really a fan of his after seeing this film.I don't know if Wes is in truth a gay man in real life.He is such a great actor during this film that he makes me really believe that he is a guy named Christian and that he is gay.I cannot imagine this movie without Wes Ramsey playing Christian. He is just amazing. He is taught a very important lesson thanks to Aaron, who really gets Christian thinking about what is really important in life and what isn't.Christian starts realizing that there is a difference in skin-deep physical attraction on the outside and the depth of true emotional love on the inside. This movie should be seen by everyone whether they are straight or gay.Latter Days (Unrated Edition)

Pathetic
This movie is a tired cliche. They should have just made it into a pron film and called it a day. The acting is laughable.

A Different Slant
I was immediately taken by this film, so much so that I watched it again within a few days as it starkly shows the contrasts of the out, proud gay guy living in his gay world, with the closeted gay who both fears being gay, and knows his family and church are totally opposed. It shows the hard road coming to terms is for so many of us, yet keeps you wanting more, and of course finally - has a happy ending. Steve Sandvoss is outstanding as the Mormom Elder and Wes Ramsey plays the big city gay guy to the hilt.

A Touching Romance
A wonderful, moving movie. The ups and down Christian and Davis go through are touching and heartbreaking. I laughed and cried at several points in this movie. If you're looking for a lot of nudity, then this isn't the film for you. However, if what you're looking for is a true romance, you can't beat this one. It's one of the best gay films I've ever seen. It's a shame there aren't more of this caliber.
