Happy Days - The Complete First Season

We purchased this for our 11 year old children and were surprised at several topics during the first 10 minutes of the first episode regarding dating. We turned it off and I would return it if I could. Perhaps the latter seasons were the ones we remembered as being more family friendly. Would not recommend.

Classic comedy for the whole family,just love those Happy Days,now I can see then commercial free,and you can too!!! Great job Paramount DVD!!!Simply Awesome!!! Two (Fonzie) thumbs up,way up!!! Five stars!!! A+

Season one was one of my least favorite growing up but I was amazed at how much I have loved this DVD!! I have young kids of my own now who watch it with me and have also fallen in love with the show. I can't wait to purchase the upcoming seasons (through Ritchie leaving the show). The family values, the relationship between Ritchie and his parents, and between the parents themselves are fabulous. The teens get into trouble being kids but there's always a grounding in wholesome, clean values that pulls them through and no one is made to look stupid or disrespected. And they're simply FUNNY! The Deadly Dares is hilarious and Knock Around the Block is the first real showcase of Fonzie's COOL! I highly recommend it!

Considering the rather poor quality of most TV sets in the early 70's, I had NEVER seen "Happy Days" in such EXCELLENT quality! The picture is crisp and clear, and the color is very accurate (not faded). The audio quality matches the video. If you enjoyed Happy Days, you will NOT be disappointed in this DVD set.

The shows are wonderful, very good quality. I am enjoying them.
