all i can say is WOW
I've been doing the firm dangerous curves ahead for a while.. its an hour long.. but i do love it.. easy moves.. easy to learn..and i sweat.. which i want.. i want to tone up (not overweight) BUT I want to tone up.. I saw the reviews for this and figured i should give it a try... its 20 minutes and it might be nice to mix up the routine.. i tried it for the first time today.. and wow.. im burning.. lol im sweating.. and im tired.. and i did level one... this is a great workout.. its fast.. but its tough.. my thighs are burning rite now.. it is prob tough for beginners.. but you know what its basic moves.. its just the timing.. your doing 30secs of jumping jacks and than 30 seconds of this .. so while your doing this 3-2-1 circuit.. every move you do is for so many secs.. breaking it down like that makes it hard.. but i can see myself doing this everyday for sure 2008-12-02




awsome workout
I used to go to the gym and do this intense class called bodypump. It was great for a few months and I lost a ton of wieght, but I paid for it too. My membership cost me over 60 dollars a month for me and my kids. I quit going there I didnt gain any wieght because I eat right, but I lost all the muscle I had gained and worked so hard for. A few months later my friend told me she wanted to start working out with me. I was running everyother day. I went over to her house so we could go walk, but we ended up talking and running out of time. She pulled out this video and said she' d never tried it before and it was only 20 min. SO we popped it in and in no time at all I was sweating bullets. I ended being so sore the next day It hurt to sit. I hadnt been that sore since I was doing that pump class!! Long story short, I bought the video and do it everyday and I am getting all that muscle back and feel great. Plus its a one time fee...and only 20 min. what more could a busy mom of two ask for! 2008-12-02




Hard but doable
I've been doing Level 1 about four times a week for two weeks and plan to go to Level 2 tomorrow. This is a good, hard 20 minutes that definitely gets easier with practice. I feel stronger and more fit already and my clothes are fitting a lot looser. I definitely recommend this product, but it's not for wusses. Be prepared to sweat! 2008-12-01




really works
I love this DVD. I started to see results after only one week. The moves are so easy to follow... no silly dance type moves like in some other workout DVDs I have. (I'm not the most coordinated person haha) Plus, knowing I only need to devote 20 or so minutes of my time a day is really motivating. I never can find an excuse not to do it and can always fit it into my schedule. I like that you can turn off Jillian's audio and only have the music too. You'll definitely feel sore from this workout but that's because it works! And all you need are light hand weights and a mat.
One con: The introduction. There is no way to skip it. Not too bright of the creators of this DVD, who developed it knowing people would be watching it everyday. I do not need to have the workouts explained every time I press play, thanks. I did it yesterday, and the day before that. I know what to expect by now! I have to leave the DVD player on all the time if I want to avoid it.

Annoying trainer, but great workout
This workout video is the first one I've done more than a few times--I'm actually in a routine of doing it every other day. It works best for me with the sound turned down--Jillian's commentary is annoying, but the moves are not hard, and I can feel a difference after just a month. 2008-11-29
