Reminds me of being a kid
I got this DVD because it was a favorite when I was growing up. The movie can be cheesey at times, but I still think it is fab.

Fabulous film!
I am 21 years old and I have been watching this film every halloween since I was a little kid. It's a marvelous movie that people of all ages can relate to. It's just good clean fun. I will definitely share this with my kids in the future. I love "The Worst Witch" and highly recommend it!

It's 80's ridiculous fun!
Oh what a film!

Talk about a good time for the whole family. I loved this movie as a child, and now I love it still.

Fairuza Balk is splendid as Mildred Hubble, the worst witch at her academy. She can never seem to do anything right, and others give her a hard time because of it.

The acting is pretty good, considering it is a children's film and the story is still easy to watch as you get older (it is not a syrupy story). The music is catchy, too.

And Tim Curry is awesome as the Grand Wizard, with quite possibly the best musical number and a ridulous 80s style video montage. Has anybody seen my tambourine?

Highly recommend!

Worst Witch
Fabulous children's movie. Loved it as a child. Still love it, as an adult.
Mildred Hubble is the worst witch in her school. She can't do anything right. From making the wrong potion, falling off her broom, to turning her classmate into a pig, instead of a frog. She eventually decides to run away. But while running away, she over hears some evil witches plans to take over the school. Only Mildred can stop them. And it just may turn out that Mildred will become the best witch instead of the worst.

The Worst Witch: Remembering Childhood
I have loved this movie for many years. It reminds me of how hard it is for a preteen girl to get along with others and to fit in. The mean girls (Ethel Hallow and her cohorts) and the nice girls (Maude and the others) make life for a poor misfit girl who is trying to make it at the Witches' Academy and become a very powerful witch pretty hard to live with. She does succeed in making everyone proud of her at the end, doesn't she.

I love this movie more than I can say. It is just such a heartwarming, funny movie.
