I love this DVD
This is a great DVD!
5 stars, flaws and all, I love this DVD.
Yes, the camera work isn't great, but honestly, after the first couple of times through, you're doing your poses, not staring at the screen. The scenery is amazing, and I think they did an incredible job with what they had. If you think the camera work will bug you, then get one of her newer DVD's with the slick production quality (but I don't think you should miss this one.)
I love the yoga. I love the speed, not too slow, not too fast. I like how I can choose to challenge myself, or just unwind. There is an incredible amount of material here, so I don't get bored. There are basic and intermediate sequences, so this DVD can grow with your practice. The music is wonderful. It's not too loud, and it's not distracting.
Don't sweat the traditional pose names. I didn't know any before this DVD, but it wasn't a barrier, and after a few times through you know what the poses are called.
This is my favorite yoga DVD, and I have 10.

Classic, quality yoga
This product is great. It comes with a couple different workouts of varying length and difficulty, but don't buy this if you're looking for a 15 minute workout, because even the shortest one is over a half hour. Don't buy it if you're a beginner, either, because it's a little too fast-paced and higher impact than you will probably like. This DVD is best for someone who has some experience with yoga and is commited to practicing a whole hour or so. Beautiful job done with production. 2008-11-03

Great Yoga CD!
Contains various yoga routines you can perform and/or matrices you can use to build your own individual workout. 2008-10-24

If you are a serious about yoga teaching or your own practice...
Avoid anything by Shiva Rea, Queen of the Trance Dance. She is not practicing yoga. She is doing some crazy rendition with yoga pose names, but it is not what yoga is all about. I recommend avoiding anything she has her name on. You'd be better off spending your money on something by Yoga Journal or finding a teacher in your community. 2008-10-24
