This is a 1950's TV show. The sound, (actually sound is better than in many high profile DVDs) and quality is equal to other TV shows of that era sold by much large and well known companies. If you remember and love this show, you will not be disapointed.
i purchased my set from Barbsstuff. Six months after I finished watching
the 120+ episodes, one episode on one disk was defective.
I contacted the seller, she responded immediately and replace it with a prefect disk

When I received my 32 disc set, I thought I had mistakenly bought a homemade copy. Plain labels, variable quality picture, amateur menus. If this is a 'digitally remastered' product I don't understand the phrase, or the original was of very poor quality. But, having read other reviews, I sense I received the commercial product, not a pirated copy. If you like Sea Hunt, and remember watching reruns in the 60s, you will truly enjoy this, and won't even notice the uneven picture quality after a few episodes. If you are a diver, you will enjoy it as well, and will probably get quite a few chuckles out of watching. A little pricey but worth the admission charge for a trip down memory lane. After all, you get essentially the entire series in this set and that is a lot of viewing enjoyment.

I ordered this expecting better quality but I still love watching these old episodes. Sea Hunt is a classic. The reruns were one of my favorite shows as a kid and I still love it. Knowing the poor quality of the recording I would still recommend this for all my fellow Sea Hunt fans out there. It's the only recordings to get.
