Lost - The Complete Seasons 1-3

Very disappointed in the product purchased. Was sold a bootleg item. I could have purchased the same item on the street for a quarter of the price.

I got the LOST 1-3 seasons for my mother for a Christmas gift. I know she is going to love them because she has missed so many episodes of LOST, and this way she will not. Also, she will be able to watch them on her time instead of the cable time. I am still waiting for the fourth season to come out and as soon as it does it will be delivered to me as well for her as a Christmas gift. My mother will not forget this Christmas. Thank you Amazon. :)

...however, I never received it from Royal Video. Instead, I had to file a claim through my credit card and Amazon for a refund. I was not alone with my problem, as many, many customers had the same experience. Very disappointed with this situation, as I've always had no problem with purchasing through Amazon.

I ordered Lost Seasons 1-3 over a month ago. I have tried to contact the seller thru email. I am still waiting on a response from that too. As far as I am concerned I will never us Amazon.com for anything, if they allow sellers to be deadbeats. So now, I am out my money and the items ordered. This site will not be recommended to any Friends or Family. Very Disappointed

I stumbled on Lost by accident. I was trying to download something else and I must have clicked when I should have scrolled....and lo and behold, I ended up with the Lost pilot. An hour later I bought the season one DVD set at Best Buy. I didn't even bother to put on pants, I just went.

Lost has that power. The power to entrance and mesmerize, to immediately captivate the viewer and hold their attention. Strangely enough, it can also repulse with the same magnitude, creating vocal critics, it seems, with every new episode.

Some people find the characters fake, the sci-fi elements lame, the story line absurd and the twists insulting to their intelligence. They lament that questions are never answered, new ones constantly introduced, plot lines left un-ended, etc. The big payoff they suspect, will not be forthcoming.

Maybe they are right, who knows? What I do know is that Lost is one of the best shows on television right now: great writers, great art direction, great acting, and a story you can really get hooked on.

In my opinion the DVD sets are the way to go. You can watch the episodes without interruption and with picture and audio quality that is far superior to network television. For 33 bucks a pop you get around 20 hours of entertainment (per set), and once you've watched them all you'll want to go back and view them again to catch all the hints and connections you missed the first time around.

Hate it or love it, I don't care. To each his own I say. As for where the series is headed, the big payoff - I don't see the need for speculation or bickering. Someone else is driving; I'm just along for the ride, but what a ride it's been!
