Living Landscapes: The World's Most Beautiful Places is all great - good overview of the series - very highly recommended - I am ordering the entire series

This DVD was the first DVD I bought. It is a great "sample" of the footage from Costa Rica, Bali, Hawaii, the Redwoods, the Rainforest, etc.

And while this DVD is beautiful it is meant to just tantalize you and give you a glimpse of what the full hour DVDs are like. You'll absolutely love the full hour long DVD's.

So in other words, use "Beautiful Places" to find what resonates with you, then if you love the Costa Rica footage you'll definately want the entire Costa Rica DVD.

I've ordered a couple of these DVD's and given them to friends, then they can decide which full length ones to buy (which they usually do).

I thought that I would see the amazing views of any countries, But the views were not good quality enough.

I can't play this DVD on our new Blu Ray.....disappointed me to no end....we have to use Blu Ray or Dual format....I would like to return this one and get my money back as it was a waste for me. I have seen parts of this DVD at the establishment where we purchased the new HD TV....and what i saw on that tape prompted us to buy the Blu Ray....
