Firefly: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

...now in HD. Nothing really to add that hasn't been said time and time again. Oh, well please Universal make more Firefly/Serenity shows/movies. Thanks.

I hope you have a set top player or a PS3. If you have a PC and are trying to watch these, you will probably have trouble. They are using a new version of BD+ protection. That means they require you to upgrade your player software and you must use an HDCP capable display.

That's all fine, but none of the updated software will play these discs. PowerDVD, WinDVD and TotalMedia all choked. So I have 3 very expensive coasters. Very disappointing.

If customer can't play the content they have paid for then the studio has FAILED miserably. Fox screws fans again.

Loved everything about this. I always want more extras but for a show with one short season we probably everything there is.

The blu-ray version isn't worth it. It is an improvement, but I'm not feeling the full HD experience I've come to expect, and only a few extra features/commentaries have been added.

If you are purchasing the series for the first time, you may as well go with the blu-ray. But if you own the DVD, I wouldn't rush to buy this one.

considering the source(if it's not shot in HD,it will only be as good as the source)this is the best picture you will get for this show,if you have a good set up for Blueray.you will also get better sound than the DVD.as for the show,if you have seen it and do not love it i cannot help you...now about a Buffy Blueray....
